The Sensational Child Public Service Announcement to air on Channel 6 and CW28

Thanks to the folks at the Rhode Island Film Festival (FLICKERS) and all of the local film makers who recently participated in the 7 Day PSA Contest. This innovative competition paired local filmmakers with non profit organizations and gave them one week to create a public service announcement.  The Sensational Child, was one of the lucky non profits selected to participate in this inaugural event.

Sensational Child’s Director, Dan McGregor noted  “At a time when non profits are financially struggling, this contest allowed us an opportunity to generate much needed media exposure that we could not have afforded to produce on our own.  Thank you to Duncan Putney and Andre Stark for your ingenuity.  You have created a real “win-win” program that not only helps non profit organizations, but provides a wonderful way for artists to give back to their communities in a creative and meaningful way.”

Thank you also to Sal and the folks at Rhinosaur Pictures and the Udris brothers at Udris Films for donating their time and talent to tell our story.  We wish you the best of luck in your efforts to expand this program to other cities, and share this opportunity with other non profit organizations across the country.   Check out the PSA’s
