What Is Sensational Child
The Sensational Child is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with autism and other disabilities and their families. We do this by providing information, therapeutic toys and durable medical equipment, support and opportunities for individuals with special needs. We are a launch pad for positive outreach through parent-to- parent group meetings, enrichment programs, and playgroups. And we provide vital work training and experience for adults with disabilities, and help them engage with their community.
In January ’09 The Sensational Child was acquired by the Adeline LaPlante Memorial Center. The LaPlante Center has supported thousands of developmentally disabled children and adults developing skills needed to improve the quality of life.
